INFORMATION WE COLLECT Information you provide directly: Your name — collected optionally during sign up Your email address — collected if you sign in with Apple Quiz answers — your gambling frequency, monthly spend, and other onboarding responses used to personalize your experience Trusted contact names and phone numbers — stored locally on your device only Information collected automatically: Streak start date and check-in history — stored locally on your device App usage data — how you interact with features like the Panic Button and check-in slider Device information — device type and operating system version for technical support purposes Information we do NOT collect: Your actual gambling history or transactions Your bank account or financial information Your location Any information from your contacts beyond the name and phone number you manually save HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use the information we collect solely to: Personalize your NoWager experience based on your quiz answers Calculate your savings and financial projections within the app Maintain your streak and check-in history Improve the app's features and fix technical issues Send you notifications if you have opted in We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing you with the NoWager experience. HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION The majority of your personal data — including your name, quiz answers, streak data, and trusted contacts — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure storage system. This means your data stays on your phone and is not transmitted to our servers. When you sign in with Apple, your Apple ID information is handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s own privacy policy. We receive only the basic profile information you authorize Apple to share. WE WILL NEVER SELL YOUR DATA We will never sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for any reason, including advertising, marketing, or data brokering. Your recovery journey is personal and private, and we intend to keep it that way. THIRD PARTY SERVICES NoWager uses the following third party services: Apple Sign In — Used for authentication. Governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy at apple.com/privacy Apple Push Notifications (APNs) — Used to send you daily reminders and streak alerts if you opt in. No personal data is shared with Apple beyond what is necessary to deliver notifications We do not use any third party advertising networks, analytics platforms that sell data, or tracking tools. YOUR RIGHTS You have the right to: Access the personal information we hold about you Request deletion of your personal information Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings Delete the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data from your device To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at the email address below. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY NoWager is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it immediately. SENSITIVE INFORMATION We recognize that information about gambling addiction is sensitive. We treat all information related to your recovery with the highest level of care and discretion. We do not share this information with employers, insurers, or any other third party under any circumstances. DATA SECURITY We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure on-device storage and is protected by your device’s own security features, including Face ID and passcode protection. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
